Perhaps I need to get a life

I was browsing around the web, exploring blog links from people whose blogs I read regularly, and I found this unread book meme at Pea Soup.

Apparently I am to compare my reading habits to a list of books most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing’s users.  These are the top 106 "unread" books.  I have read, and loved, a surprisingly large number of them.   

The books I’ve read are marked in bold.

The books I started but couldn’t/didn’t finish are in italics, surprising few of the books on this particular list.

Those I’ve read more than once have an asterisk*.

I did not mark the ones that are on my "to be read list" as it could be all or none of the remaining books, or some of the books already read, depending on the day, the weather, my mood etc.

I think I am amazed at the quality of books that people are not reading.  There were only a couple in that list that I either couldn’t read, or couldn’t stand once I did read them, and I have read well over 3/4 of them.
