Sneak Peak

IMG_0745 Here is a little peak at what is coming up in the sewing room:

These fabrics have all been washed although I am still in the process of pressing a few of them.

Today however, I think I shall spend what sewing time I find, perusing the new Vogue Patterns magazine and the new Fashion Sewing Group newsletter.

Do I see butterflies? Any fabric with insects is OK by me.

We’re not doing sewing week, exactly. Lyn, Diane, Karen Spector, and I are spending 3 days with Sandra week after next in her new workroom. We are supposed to be learning about how to teach sewing, especially fitting techniques. Something new for Sandra, and different for us.
I’m already thinking about 2010, however!! July is still probably the best month for me to attend.
I have been wanting aprons, too. Which patterns are you thinking about using for them???
