I've been distracted of late, and my words have been lost in the fog of my thoughts.
While waiting to be able to check into our hotel, that first day in Scotland, we went up to Edinburgh Castle. Apparently, I was more entranced by the views from the castle than the castle itself, except perhaps for a few bits here and there.
Regardless, following are my first impressions of Edinburgh.
I am away at a retreat. Hopefully my words, and more pictures, will follow shortly. Have a glorious weekend.

I love the first photo of granite, moss and lichen. Hope you’re having a good time!

Enjoy your retreat. I am looking forward to more Scotland photos!
Thank you, I love that photo as well. Perhaps there is a subset in my photo albums — mosses of the world,
Thank you! I’ll get to them, but I don’t know when. I keep making my already busy life busier.
