Knitting Progress

IMG_1126 If I can't knit in the evenings due to kitten interference, it finally dawned on me  that I could knit during the day.  The days have been slightly cooler, with a lovely breeze, so I have spent some time out on the deck knitting. The back of Sheelagh is almost done.

I am still not knitting a lot, but more than in the recent past.  And I am still wrapped up in decluttering and organizing my own space as well as everything else.  The general chaos was more of  strain than anything else, and in the end I could only fool myself that I was able to ignore it for so long.

IMG_1104 Here is my little yarn thief, in his favorite sleeping place.  This basket is used to store folded up sheets of tissue paper that I insert in tees and fine-gauge sweaters when I fold them and put them on the shelf.  Surprisingly Moisés does not shred this tissue or attempt to steal it, but is content to use it as a mattress.   Since he is playing so nicely with his little bed, I have left it out for him to use, rather than returning it to the closet.  He will outgrow it soon enough.

Kittens are so delightful, and that stage passes so quickly, that I can see why you’d be tolerant of Moises’ little mischiefs for now.

Moises looks so much like my cat who is now 16 years old.

Oh boy! That face could get away with shredding my best vintage dresses… Too sweet!
