my daughter’s new persian kitten surprised her by settling in behind the pickles in the fridge the other day . . . I’m curious about the light box as well. Do you already use it regularly or is it part of a plan . . .?
Oh yes, Barbara, the warmth. I am always amazed at how much heat the cats like. That is probably why he looks at me so expectantly when the lights are off.
Susan, Ive occasionally taken small pictures of things for the blog with the light box. G originally bought it when he was photographing small objects back in the days when he could still use his cameras and had his own darkroom as well. I suppose Ive claimed it for myself now.
In the short term I think I will be using it to photograph my yarn stash and then perhaps move on to new things. Or it may be a kitty tanning salon.
Mater, both cats have crawled into the fridge and I worry about them there. But Moises keeps coming back to the light box, and it does frame him so nicely.
I think it would be good for photographing small projects for the blog, although at the moment it is probably mostly just a yarn cataloging device.

What an absolutely gorgeous little fur baby. He looks so self-contained.
Give it up. You’ll lose this battle. You know he’ll scale bookshelves and such for what he desires.
Awwww, so cute! I bet he likes it when the light is on…nice and warm. Maybe this will be his new sleeping spot
Cats just love boxes! He is so sweet.

Oh yes Duchesse, no box goes unclaimed.
Sz, He is definitely my baby, and possessed of the confidence of he who knows he is loved and spoiled.
Yes, Gina, he will, and I will give in to him because he is so cute.
Thank you Lisa and Mette. He is beautiful and sweet, although a bit of a trouble maker as well.
