One of these days I will actually mulch the perennial bed before all the plants come up:
It would definitely be much easier, rather than lovingly moving mulch around each plant. Of course that is fun too. I enjoy moving between the plants. My back would rather just dump the mulch, spread it, and be done with it.
Life without challenges would not be much fun.
