First Shad of the season! Is it a little earlier than in times past?
Served with first spinach from my garden, might be nearly the last spinach as I only got one small planting in and haven’t gotten around to planting any more, and shiitakes from the Mushroom man up in Saugerties. So, this is our first local (or mostly so — the olive oil is obviously not local) meal of the season.
